More to read on the Humpback Whale killing

November 19, 2007

Please join me in the protest against the killing of Humpback Whales and others by japanese whaling ships that starts these days if nothing is done against it. Use your blogs to protest against this crime against humankind and the planet earth with all its creatures.

Read the facts and don’t let yourself be tricked by official responses of an industry that solely lives off profits for their own benefit and destroys everything that has been achieved in the past 50 years.

How is it possible that less than a handful of governments of countries such as Japan, Norway and Iceland dare to act against the wishes, efforts, hopes and convictions of the people of a whole planet?

Wake up people of this earth! Don’t allow this to happen!

Do you really want to sacrifice one of the most intelligent creatures on this earth for a sushi meal on your plate? What are you going to tell your kids?

    many thanks for this posting.
the whales need all the help they can get

I surely will continue with my pledge and do whatever I can to support the cause. I hope very much that one little step after another will help to reach the right people.

I visited a whaling station that has been closed for 30 years and it still stinks of death. We were all in tears.see my article “WHALE slaughter illegal sickening unnecessary and unscientific” on

  4. Idetrorce Says:

very interesting, but I don’t agree with you

  5. Diego Luego Says:

    Please explain Idetrorce

Exactly what don’t you agree with? Do you think it is ok to slaughter these gentle creatures just to stockpile the unneeded meat in Japanese cold storage?

This is some sort of bizarre Japanese vanity.

Despite their claims they have no tradition of whaling in the Southern Oceans. Nobody did.

see “JAPANESE backdown on humpback slaughter was just part of an ambit claim”

    Hi Diego,
that’s why I am glad that the Greenpeace ship Esperanza is still on its mission. There is a BBC reporter on board which is really good for an even more convincing documentation.
It is not only the humpbacks which need to be saved from slaughtering but the entire species. We have to continue our pledge!

  7. Diego Lluego Says:

A quick poll at Christmas lunch today showed that even my most rusted-on right wing, authoritarian, relative was in favour of stern action by the Australian Government.

We have to demonstrate to the Japanese that they will lose “face” by continuing to kill whales. They will gain face by stopping.

    How do we do this?
